Happy
1. Happy is a blog/community driven music festival based in the inner west city of Enmore. It was established in 2010 by Radi Safi after another Sydney venue closure got him thinking about turning non-music venues into band nights. Its first incarnation was as Happy! a free Sunday afternoon with bands and poets from 4pm until late at The Sly Fox, one of Sydney’s darker and more infamous lesbian pubs. Local poets read between band change overs and DJ’s played well into the night after the last band set. The event ran for the 3 months of Summer and left a lasting impression on all involved.
